Improving tools for managing coastal hazards
RISC-KIT (2013-2017) aims to develop and deliver ready-to-use methods, tools and management approaches to reduce risk and increase resilience to low-frequency, high-impact hydro-meteorological events on European coasts. These products will enhance forecasting, prediction and early warning capabilities, improve the assessment of long-term coastal risk and optimise the mix of prevention, mitigation and preparedness measures. EurOcean is responsible for the dissemination and knowledge transfer activities of the project including maintenance and updates of the website, production of the regular eNewsletter and the generation of promotional materials. EurOcean is also involved in the collection, review and historical analysis of relevant data.
