European Marine Research Knowledge Transfer and Uptake of Results
MarineTT (2010-2012) addressed the challenge of unlocking the vast amounts of potentially valuable information generated under marine funded projects in FP6 and FP7. Its objectives were: to gain a more comprehensive overview of the knowledge generated by reviewing research outcomes and identifying which could be potentially exploited; to devise and test an innovative evaluation mechanism to identify the research outcomes with the most potential for exploitation and to link and transfer knowledge to key stakeholders.EurOcean was responsible, for identifying and collecting information on projects and project results and making them publicly available through the Marine Knowledge Gate. EurOcean was also responsible for promoting and disseminating the project´s results.
