Sea for Society (2012-2015) key objectives were to uncover citizen and stakeholder views of the Ocean, identify cross-cutting issues across different Ocean themes, and propose challenge-driven solutions to promote the sustainable management of the marine environment. The Blue Society vision is the result of activities undertaken during the SFS programmeEurOcean was responsible for the project’s communication and dissemination activities, including website maintenance and update, design and development of promotional materials and assisting in developing the Blue Society support materials. EurOcean also contributed to planning, mobilization and analysis of results of the dialogue process, and management of knowledge towards a “Blue Society”.
