Who we are and what we do

Sandra Sá started her carrer in 2006 dealing mostly with project managing and research. She joined EurOcean in February 2009, as a Science Officer, and she is currently responsible for the EurOcean's Marine Research Infrastructures pillar, project management and the organization of the Professor Mário Ruivo Prize. She manages EurOcean´s contribution to EUROFLEEETS 2 and H2020 INTAROS project, participates in the MARINA project and oversees relevant work for COFASP.
Sandra was previously a high school teacher, before moving to the University of Aveiro were she focused her research on Marine Seismics, additionally she was involved in managing a national funded educational project were she merged her love for teaching of science and its dissemination to youngsters.
Sandra is graduated in Biology and Geology and specialised in Marine and Coastal Zones Sciences.
